More than 60 people came to Unity Books in Wellington to hear a conversation with the authors of A Constitution for Aotearoa New Zealand chaired by Dr Dean Knight of Victoria University Law School.
There were more questions than time available to answer them. Issues of interest were the monarchy and what exactly is the Crown; Parliamentary reform and a four year term; the need for more checks and balances on government power; and the place of referenda.
